How It Works
The technology is based on integrating a cellular unit and IoT sensors into an existing lighting pole, which is replaced by a smart pole. This is done in accordance with the amendment to the Planning and Construction Regulations, and within the guidelines of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, RATA, and the Ministry of Communications.
Installation requires no building permit. It is carried out with approval from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and RATA, and in full coordination with all cellular carriers in Israel. Each site receives official licensing under the name of the cellular operator that selected that location within the urban environment.
